A Need
1 in 8 women of reproductive age have received fertility care in their lifetime in the United States. 1 in 4 couples have suffered a loss. Statistics, no matter where they are taken from, show staggering rates of men and women needing help in regards to conceiving all over the country and all over the world.
Feelings of lonlieness. Frustration. Confusion. Loss. For some, fertility can feel more like a nightmare than a dream. Why should fertility become the dreaded F-word? There has to be a better way to see it. These concerns brought about the founding of Fertility Framework. After years of seeing friends and clients cycle through these struggles, Our founder, Megan Bendinelli, decided to bring her professional expertise and her personal experience to the forefront and provide the missing component to fertility care.
Personal Experience
Megan knew it was time to reframe and expand her views on fertility care when she experienced first hand the rollercoaster of emotions when trying to conceive. Megan and her husband struggled with infertility and experienced several miscarriages. She experienced the heart break, exhaustion, and uncertainty she witnessed her friends and clients often endure. These feelings and moments reinforced one simple idea: more needed to be done, and more could be done. Whether it was more time--to ask questions, discuss options, and understand results--or more empathy-- to feel comforted, heard, and respected—Megan recognized that care must expand beyond the medicine, and typical short appointment times and include education, psychological support and optimization of one’s health.
